A woman who managed two Florida surgery centers pleaded guilty to stealing more than $27,000 from the facilities, according to a Tampa Tribune article.
Marty Glass admitted to stealing from West Coast Surgical Associates and Gulf Coast Surgical. In January, surgeon Aziz Al'Kafaji asked Ms. Glass about the missing money, and she told the physician she took the money. In April, she was arrested.
Ms. Glass was sentenced to 15 years of probation and ordered to repay the money she stole.
