Rocky Mountain Gastroenterology Associates and Arapahoe Gastroenterology have announced their merger agreement effective October 1, 2012.
Together, Rocky Mountain Gastroenterology Associates and Arapahoe Gastroenterology have 30 board-certified gastroenterologists and 10 mid-level practitioners. The group will serve patients at 12 office locations and five endoscopy centers, and provide coverage at 10 hospitals in the Denver market.
"We are thrilled to be merging with a group of providers that is so highly respected in our community and to build on each others expertise to offer patients the highest quality care available in our region," says CEO Craig Bekken. "Expanded coverage and greater accessibility for our patients is of utmost importance as we will now be able to serve the entire Metropolitan area, from Brighton to Castle Rock and Golden to Parker. The union of our two independent practices is exciting as well as natural given that we have been working cooperatively on joint venture projects over the past several years."
