Gastroenterologist Ahsan Bhatti, MD, has been appointed to the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice, according to a news release.
Dr. Bhatti is a physician with Affiliated Community Medical Center in Willmar, Minn.
His term began June 30, 2012 and expires Jan. 4, 2016.
Dr. Bhatti attended medical school and completed a residency at Allama Iqbal College of Medicine, Punjab University, Lahore in Pakistan, according to his bio. He completed an internship and residency, and a fellowship in gastroenterology, at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington. He also completed a fellowship in gastroenterology/hepatology at Pennsylvannia State University in Hershey.
