Rhode Island has restored the license of an anesthesiologist who was accused of molesting a female patient in 2005, according to a WPRI report.
Russel Aubin, MD, lost his license in 2005 after the State Board of Medical Licensure and Discipline concluded he had fondled a woman while she was sedated and undergoing knee surgery at Kent Hospital.
Dr. Aubin was acquitted of second-degree sexual assault, but a civil court upheld the license revocation. He was found psychologically fit last year.
