Access MediQuip, a national provider of surgical implant management solutions, has named Steven L. Arnold, MD, MS, MBA, CPE, FHIMSS, as its chief medical officer, according to an Access MediQuip news release (pdf).
Dr. Arnold most recently served as the CMO for Virginia Premier Health Plan. He serves on the boards of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, N.Y. State Senate Committee for Preventative Healthcare Grants, Urgent Care Medicine and Formulary Magazine.
In his role as CMO for Access MediQuip, he will be responsible for clinical programs, partnering with payor medical staff, the development of medical management policies and procedures, quality and safety initiatives and product development.
