Access MediQuip, a national provider of surgical implant management solutions, has announced Prakash Patel, MD, the company's CEO, has been named a physician leader in the ambulatory surgery center industry by Becker's ASC Review, according to an Access MediQuip news release.
Dr. Patel is included in the recently published Becker's ASC Review list of 150 physician leaders in the ASC industry. These physicians are recognized by the publication for having made significant contributions to the ASC.
"The surgical implant sector is going through an important metamorphosis as payors, facilities, physicians and device manufacturers look for solutions to improve financial performance and quality outcomes," Dr. Patel said, in the release. "I am honored to be named an industry leader where ASCs are a key part of the solution that Access MediQuip delivers."
The list of leaders will be published in the Nov./Dec. edition of Becker's ASC Review.
