SPR Therapeutics is preparing to launch its pain relief device by the end of the year, pending final 510(k) clearance from the Food and Drug Administration, according to a Mass Device news report.
SPR's minimally invasive Smartpatch Peripheral Nerve Stimulation System has been designed to relieve shoulder pain in stroke patients for up to 30 days. The Smartpatch PNS system includes a skin-mounted external stimulator, percutaneous lead and small adhesive pads.
