APF Launches NSAID, Acetaminophen Safety Module for Consumers, Healthcare Providers

The American Pain Foundation has officially launched a new resource on pain medication safety for acetaminophen and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs as part of its PainSAFE educational initiative, according to a foundation news release.

The new informational resource will be launched in conjunction with a national public service announcement, emphasizing the safe use of pain treatment options. APF's PainSAFE initiative seeks to educate consumers and physicians on the appropriate and safe use of pain management therapies in order to reduce risk and improve access to quality pain care.
