The surgeons at The Eye Institute of Utah, an eye surgery center in Salt Lake City that concentrates on cataract, LASIK and other vision correction surgeries, has announced the addition of Optiwave Refractive Analysis to assist with cataract surgeries, according to a release.
The use of Optiwave Refractive Analysis helps to confirm intraocular lens strength while customizing each procedure to fit the patient's specific vision needs.
Robert J. Cionni, MD, medical director, said combining state-of-the-art LenSx Custom Cataract Laser technology, lens implants and ORA technologies will allow his staff to offer more options to cataract patients.
