Alamo Heights Surgery Center. The surgery center is affiliated with United Surgical Partners International and accredited by The Joint Commission. It features three operating rooms and two treatment rooms. It offers surgical services in numerous specialties, including dental/oral surgery, ENT, gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management and pediatric surgery. Tommy Harvey serves as administrator of the center.
American Surgery Center of South Texas. The single-specialty ASC focuses on ophthalmic procedures, such as cataract surgery, cornea transplants, refractive lens exchange and multiple glaucoma procedures. The center is owned by local physicians and its corporate partner Surgery Partners. The ASC includes seven physicians.
Babcock Surgical Center. The freestanding facility was opened in 2009. The center offers pain management and orthopedic services. It is licensed by the Texas State Department of Health.
Castle Hills Surgery Center. The physician-owned surgery center focuses on providing musculoskeletal care. The center offers treatments for sports injuries, arthritic conditions and sports medicine. It also offers pain management services.
The Center for Special Surgery. The ASC offers surgical services in a number of specialties, including ENT, pain management, orthopedics, podiatry and plastic surgery. The center includes 11 physicians and is a part of Methodist Healthcare, based in San Antonio.
Orthopaedic Surgery Center of San Antonio. The center features six operating rooms, an open-ended MRI as well as CT and X-ray capabilities. It is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care and focuses on orthopedic treatments such as arthroscopies, joint replacements and platlet-rich plasma therapy. The surgery center is a part of San Antonio Orthopaedic Group.
Pasteur Plaza Surgery Center. The three-OR ASC is licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare. It provides services in urology, ENT, pain management, podiatry, gynecology and plastic surgery. Established in 2002, the center is a member of Surgical Care Affiliates. Michelle Patino is the administrator of the center.
Stone Oak Surgery Center. The multispecialty surgical center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare. It is affiliated with SurgCenter Development. The center was opened in 2011 and it offers care in a wide array of specialties, such as orthopedics, pain management, general surgery and colorectal surgery. It is licensed by the state of Texas.
Theda Oaks Surgery Center. The surgery center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare. It provides surgical treatments in gastroenterology and interventional pain management. The ASC includes eight physicians.
Trinity Surgery Center. The 6,500-square-foot facility is licensed by the state of Texas Department of Health and accredited by Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. It includes two operating rooms, two treatment rooms and three preoperative beds and four post-anesthesia care unit beds. The center provides surgical services in orthopedics, spine, podiatry and interventional pain management. Eight physicians perform procedures at the center.
