Blue Chip Surgical Center Partners is pleased to announce the formation of Lake Ridge Ambulatory Surgery Center, a new joint venture with a group of orthopedic, spine, and pain surgeons and Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center. The center, located in Lake Ridge, Virginia, offers outpatient surgical care in orthopedics, spine and pain management.
"By coming together in this unique collaboration, we will be able to better serve the needs of our patients and the community here in Prince William County," said Richard Layfield, MD, an orthopedic sports medicine surgeon and president of Lake Ridge Ambulatory Surgery Center. "With the team we have in place, we are confident our center will deliver superior outcomes, a great patient experience and solid business performance."
Scheduled to open in late 2012, the 9,500-square-foot facility will house one operating room and one procedure room. It will be located on the second floor of Sentara Lake Ridge, Sentara Healthcare's outpatient medical campus, which also features 24-hour emergency care, advanced imaging and laboratory services.
