River Oaks Hospital in Flowood, Miss., has announced the opening of a freestanding Pediatric Surgery Center, also in Flowood, according to a Mississippi Business Journal report.
The multispecialty Pediatric Surgery Center offers outpatient services to children ranging from three months to 19 years of age.
April Ulmer, MD, a pediatric gastroenterologist, performed the first procedure at the surgery center.
