Presbyterian Healthcare in Charlotte, N.C., will perform the first procedure at its new $8.6 million ambulatory surgery center on Feb. 20, according to a Charlotte Business Journal report.
The surgery center will include eye care, pediatric endoscopy and a diagnostic breast center. Woody Hubbard, vice president of ambulatory care for the health system, said Presbyterian has identified an unmet need for those services.
The 19,600-square-foot facility will consolidate several services that were previously offered across the street at Presbyterian Hospital.
