The Greater Bemidji Area Joint Planning Board has approved an expansion for Sanford Health Bemidji, which will include a 24,000-square-foot surgery center, according to a Bemidji Pioneer report.
The expansion will also include a 20,000-square-foot orthopedic center and a 40,000-square-foot cardiac center.
The JPB approved the expansion with seven conditions set in January by the Joint Planning Commission, along with an eighth condition investigating the possible future realignment of Hannah Avenue.
