Construction has begun on a new ambulatory care facility that will house a surgery center in Irvine, Calif., according to a news release from Swinerton Builders, the project's design-build services provider.
The 142,000-square-foot High Desert Multi-Service Ambulatory Care Center will feature a large ambulatory surgical center as well as adult and pediatric primary care clinics, an urgent care clinic, a women's clinic, and medical and surgical subspecialty clinics.
It is expected to be completed in the summer of 2014.
