Stephen J. Wheatley, the current administrator of Franciscan Surgery Center in Indianapolis, has been chosen by Franciscan St. Francis Health to head operations for its new facility, according to an Indy Star report.
Mr. Wheatley has served as the administrator of Franciscan Surgery Center for almost a decade, according to the report. The new medical center, to be called Franciscan St. Francis Health Carmel, will be opening in phases until April 1.
The 89,000-square-foot, three-story facility will include a six-bed inpatient unit as well as inpatient and outpatient surgical suites, a comprehensive imaging center, cardiac testing, physical therapy, oncology infusion therapy and other clinical services.
