French Hospital Medical Center and the physicians that own Templeton Surgery Center in San Luis Obispo, Calif., have announced the appointment of Brenda Gray as the surgery center's new director, according to a Paso Robles Press report.
As the director of Templeton Surgery Center, Ms. Gray is responsible for facility operations, including management, planning and coordination of outpatient surgeries and patient care. Ms. Gray comes to Templeton with more than 15 years of professional experience in the healthcare management field, as well as past business experience.
In Feb. 2011, FHMC became the majority owner of the Templeton Surgery Center, partnering with the center's physician owners to expand healthcare access to more county residents and extend outreach services to underserved patients in the community. The facility performs procedures in the areas of general surgery, oral surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, plastic surgery, podiatry and ENT.
