Deerfield Beach (Fla.) Outpatient Surgical Center, a privately-owned, multi-specialty ASC, opened its doors and performed its first surgery in Jan. 2011, according to a center release.
The center spans 7,500 square feet. Kam Habibi, DC, chief financial officer for the center, said patient safety begins with the center's employees. The center has purchased various technologies to assist in keeping patients safe.
