Provista, a supply chain improvement company, has announced it has entered into a partnership with Health Inventures for use of the new Provista Pro platform, according to a Provista news release.
Provista Pro is intended to help providers better understand their supply chain by providing access to relevant data, obtain the best price available for supplies, simplify supply ordering and reduce investment in shelved inventory, amongst other features.
"It's a privilege for Provista to begin working with one of the nation's most forward thinking healthcare companies dedicated to finding new ways to offer significant value to their customers, in this case beyond traditional purchasing," said Jim Webb, senior vice president for Provista, in the release.
Chuck Peck, MD, president and CEO of Health Inventures, said, in the release, "This program will help ambulatory surgery centers protect their operational costs, which is a critical challenge during this time of uncertain reimbursements.
