Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine, Fla., has renewed its relationship with supply chain improvement company Provista for another three years, according to a release.
Flagler has been a customer of Provista since May 2001. In Jan. 2012, Flagler also joined the Provista Connects program, which uses aggregation to maximize savings on key contracts. Hospitals can unite with similar acute-care customers to leverage higher combined purchasing volumes, leading to lower prices.
Provista and its supply contracting company, Novation, leverage nearly $40 billion in annual purchases, according to the release.
