The Medical Device Manufacturers Association (MDMA) has announced its support for a new bill which would strengthen the research and development tax credit and make it permanent.
In a news release from MDMA, Mark Leahey, president and CEO of the national trade association, applauded the representatives behind the "American Research and Competitiveness Act of 2011" and said the bill allows companies to plan for future investments and strategies, which is only accomplishable through predictable tax and regulatory policies.
