NIOSH Adds 26 Drugs to List of Hazardous Drugs in Healthcare

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health has updated its list of antineoplastic and other hazardous drugs in healthcare settings, according to a CDC news release.

The list was first published in 2004 and updated in 2010 to define hazardous drugs that pose a risk in healthcare. The 2012 update adds 26 drugs, including clonazepam and tetracycline HCl. To view the list of drugs in full, click here.
