The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology has introduced its Competency Advancement Assistance program, which is designed to help infection preventionists manage costs associated with obtaining Certification in Infection Prevention and Control.
Through the Competency Advancement Assistance program, financial assistance will be available to more than 70 individuals to defray costs related to either initial certification or recertification. These funds will provide both educational resources for test preparation, as well as reimbursement for the successful completion of the CIC examination.
