NueHealth adds 3 senior executives
Leawood, Kan.-based NueHealth Holdings named three healthcare executives to senior executive positions. The company appointed John Palumbo executive chairman, Carl King CEO and Scott C. Palecki general counsel.

Omni Eye Services purchases Pennsylvania eye center
Omni Eye Services acquired King of Prussia, Pa.-based Kremer Eye Center. Kremer is a surgical eye provider with locations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. It's one of the largest multispecialty ophthalmology practices in the Mid-Atlantic.

Atrium Health countersues anesthesia group over contract dispute
Charlotte, N.C.-based Southeast Anesthesia Consultants, a Mednax practice, has been locked in a contract dispute with Charlotte-based Atrium Health for the past 18 months. SAC sued Atrium for obtaining "highly confidential, sensitive business information and trade secrets" under "false pretenses" to develop a competing services provider — Scope Anesthesia — which is slated to become Atrium's new anesthesia provider this summer. WellStar Health opening outpatient surgery center
Marietta, Ga.-based WellStar Health System is opening an outpatient surgery center in Smyrna, Ga., April 16. The 20,000-square-foot surgery center will include 17 preoperative and postoperative recovery rooms, three operating room suites and three procedure rooms.

Pinnacle III's Peak One Surgery Center achieves AAAHC reaccreditation
Frisco, Colo.-based Peak One Surgery Center was reaccredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care following a March survey.

Surgical Funds launches ASC patient financing program with Health Credit Services
Dallas-based Surgical Funds launched its services as a flexible patient financing solution for ASCs. The company aims to provide healthcare consumers access to financing for surgical procedures.
