Procedural codes will change for 2013, and the American Medical Association has announced 600 alterations, including 85 new codes, 119 deleted, 263 revised and 32 resequenced, according to PRWeb.
Big areas with changes include office or outpatient services, consultations, diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine, dialysis, immunology, digestive system, musculoskeletal system, respiratory system and cardiovascular system.
