Seattle Anesthesia Outreach has partnered with Boeing and Ethiopian Airlines to deliver 20,000 pounds of medical supplies to Ethiopia’s largest hospital, according to Star Africa.
The shipment included several anesthesia machines to be used in the hospital’s operating rooms, as well as patient monitoring equipment, intensive care beds and other surgical equipment.
The effort is a part of the Boeing Humanitarian Delivery Flights program, which are collaborations among Boeing and non-profit organizations.
