Prioritization, coordination and leadership are three key factors for successfully reintroducing elective cases during the COVID-19 pandemic, said American Society of Anesthesiologists President Mary Dale Peterson, MD, during a May 7 webinar.
During the webinar, which was jointly hosted by the ASA and the American College of Healthcare Executives, Dr. Peterson and four other panelists discussed case prioritization, supply preservation, workforce resiliency and testing, among other relevant topics.

- Robyn Begley, DNP, RN, CEO of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership and senior vice president and chief nursing officer for the American Hospital Association
