U.S. Attorney Tim Heaphy announced a new task force to target healthcare fraud in Western Virginia and the Roanoke area, according to a report from WJZ News.
Mr. Heaphy said the new task force would include personnel from state and federal agencies and would share information and decide how best to combat growing healthcare fraud, according to the report.
The task force will be chaired by assistant U.S. Attorney Jennie Waering.
