Medline Industries has announced Surgery Partners has selected it as its preferred distribution partner for medical and surgical supplies, according to a Medline news release.
Under the partnership, Medline will provide full distribution services to Surgery Partners' 50 ambulatory surgical centers and multiple physician offices.
The three-year agreement for distribution services is expected to be worth more than $21 million over the term of the agreement.
"We selected Medline because of their dedicated ambulatory surgery center sales force and comprehensive Medline brand product line," said David W. Pyle, vice president of operational services for Surgery Partners, in the release "As both a distributor and manufacturer, Medline is able to provide a broad array of quality products and services at a lower overall cost."
