Regent Surgical Health has named Kathleen Bernicky, RN, BSN, its new director of clinical operations.
Ms. Bernicky will be responsible for promoting best practices in all areas of healthcare and supplying Regent's partner facilities with her clinical knowledge, according to a news release.
She has 34 years of clinical experience, with leadership roles including the CNO position at Surgical Hospital of Munster (Ind.) and the emergency department manager at Community Hospital in Munster.
"After experiencing the culture of service and operational excellence that Regent provides its centers, I knew I wanted to be part of this dynamic company," said Ms. Bernicky in the news release. "I believe that all leaders want to create the right environment for their patients, physicians and staff. The Regent staff helped the leadership team at Surgical Hospital of Munster get through some very difficult times. They were always there to lead and guide us. I look forward to serving and working with other facilities in the same way. I am honored to be part of the Regent Surgical Health team."
