MMX Holdings, which is preparing to launch its ManageMyASC.com platform for commercial release, has announced a partnership with the investment arm of California's Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic as part of MMX's acquisition of the SurgiCoder technology platform, according to a news release from ManageMyASC.com.
ManageMyASC.com a real-time interactive management tool that provides a view into the financial and operational performance of ambulatory surgery centers with tracking, benchmarking, analysis and recommendations. SurgiCoder is a coding tool for surgeons; Kerlan-Jobe participated in the initial acquisition and development of the technology.
"The affiliated with Kerlan-Jobe not only added to our equity financing, but also anchored MMX to a prominent physician group that is intimately familiar with ASC operations and management," said John Seitz, CEO of MMX Holdings, in the release. "The orthopedic community is a significant segment for surgical centers and this relationship gives us a strong connection to that community. The SurgiCoder technology is a perfect fit for our platform and allows us to offer this to surgical centers as part of an integrated solution."
