Tennessee County Considers Pill Mill Guidelines

The Commissioners of Knox County, Tenn., are considering setting guidelines on where a pain clinic could operate, who could own it and what registration requirements would be needed, according to a report by Volunteer TV.

The proposed ordinance would also make it more difficult for pill mills that have been closed to move to a new area and start up again.

A county commissioner is asking for a study to determine land use and zoning categories for pain clinics.
