Barbara Auguste will join Tarrytown, N.Y.-based ENT and Allergy Associates Nov. 9 as its new director of regulatory affairs, the practice announced in a Nov. 3 press release.
Ms. Auguste has 14 years of experience in healthcare with work at Maimonides Medical Center, Weill Cornell Medical College and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, all in New York City.
In her new role, Ms. Auguste will keep ENTA staff and physicians up to date on healthcare regulations, including areas related to coding, documentation and HIPAA, the release said.
"Barbara's experience and leadership skills will help guide our practice today and into the future," ENTA CEO Robert Glazer said in a statement. "She will ensure the development and implementation of systems and internal controls to ensure a high level of regulatory and policy compliance. We have our patients' best interest in mind when hiring anyone for our practice. Barbara's education and career history reflects the professional culture and work ethic inherent in the core of our ENTA administrative team."
