Joseph A. Bosco III, MD, was elected to the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons board of directors at its 2013 Annual Meeting in Chicago, March 19-23, according to an AAOS News Now report.
Dr. Bosco is the vice chairman of clinical affairs in the department of orthopedic surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center's Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York.
Dr. Bosco has been a long-time active member of AAOS. He has previously served on the Ethics Committee and the Sports Medicine Evaluation Committee and chaired the Central Program Committee.
