The Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins has acquired Maryland's Parris Castoro eye care, according to a Havre de Grace Patch report.
Parris Castoro has centers in Bel Air and Havre de Grace, Md., both of which will remain in operation.
Parris Castoro is now named Wilmer Eye Institute at Parris-Castoro Johns Hopkins Medicine, according to the Parris Castoro website.
The Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins was founded in 1925. It specializes in the diagnosis and management of complex medical and surgical eye disease and is the largest department of ophthalmology in the United States, according to the Wilmer Eye Institute website.
