Heaton Eye Associates in Texas has broken ground on a new facility in Longview, according to a Longview News-Journal report.
The new, 13,000-square-foot facility is expected to open in fall 2013.
It will offer ophthalmology, vision care and testing services, as well as an optical shop.
Heaton Eye Associates has an existing Longview location that will remain open until the new facility is finished.
Heaton Eye Associates, which has been in operation for 25 years, also has Texas locations in Tyler, Athens and Henderson.
