Ophthalmologist Faye Knoll, MD, has joined the medical staff of North Shore Eye Care, which has several locations on Long Island, N.Y., according to an organization announcement.
Dr. Knoll, a cornea and external disease specialist, comes to North Shore Eye Care from the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary.
Dr. Knoll is active in ophthalmic research and her special interests include cataract and refractive surgery, penetrating keratoplasty, Descemet's Automated Endothelial Stripping Keratoplasty, anterior segment reconstruction and sutured intraocular lenses.
Dr. Knoll received her MD from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, N.Y., completed an ophthalmology residency at North Shore – Long Island Jewish Hospital in Manhasset, N.Y., and completed a fellowship in corneal and external diseases at New York Eye & Ear Infirmary.
North Shore Eye Care maintains offices in Smithtown, Riverhead, Holbrook and Deer Park, N.Y.
