FDA Ophthalmic Device Panel Advocates Bausch + Lomb Intraocular Lens

The Bausch + Lomb Trulign toric accommodating posterior chamber ocular lens has received premarket approval from the Ophthalmic Devices Panel of the FDA, according to a Medscape report.

On April 8, 10 of the 12 panel members voted that the intraocular lens was safe, effective and had benefits that outweighed its risks.
