The Palladium for Surgery Houston in River Oaks, Texas, is suing a Clear Lake physician, alleging he refused to pay more than $300,000 owed for using the facility, according to an Ultimate Montrose report.
The surgery center filed a lawsuit on Sept. 7 in the Harris County District Court against Richard Westmark, MD, and Comprehensive Surgicare Center, alleging that Palladium for Surgery Houston entered into an exclusive-use agreement with the defendants that required them to reimburse the center for its use and other services.
According to the report, the defendants breached the agreement when they failed to pay Palladium $304,378.45 owed for surgical center use and other services.
