British researchers found exercise may have a beneficial effect on the development of glaucoma, a UPI report said.
Researchers examined the relationship between exercise and ocular perfusion pressure, a risk factor in the development of glaucoma, in more than 5,000 people between the age of 48 and 90. They found moderate exercise over a 15-year period was associated with a 25 percent reduction in risk of low ocular perfusion pressure.
