Sen. Sherrod Brown Joins ASC Quality and Access Act as Co-Sponsor

Senator Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) signed on as a co-sponsor of the ASC Quality and Access Act of 2011 this week, according to an ASCA release.

Sen. Brown was recently visited by members of the Ohio Association of Ambulatory Surgery Centers. The OAASC members discussed the current state of the ASC industry and strongly encouraged Sen. Brown to become a co-sponsor.

The bill now has 36 sponsors and cosponsors in the U.S. House and five in the U.S. Senate.
