In study of 28,000 online physician reviews, Vanguard Communications identified which specialists patients rank the highest.
The study revealed that physicians with an MD have an average rating of 3.80 out of five stars, while providers that have non-MD degrees, such as podiatrists or naturopaths, earn an average rate of 4.29 stars. The most common complaints in online ratings focused on customer service, rather than a physician's care.
