St. Mary's Surgical Center in Blue Springs, Mo., was recently visited by Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler (R-MO), according a report from the ASC Association in its ASCA Government Affairs Update.
Rep. Hartzler toured the ambulatory surgery center as part of a district-wide visit during the weeklong congressional recess.
She was escorted on the tour by Di Carr, regional vice president for United Surgical Partners International, and Nancy Sturgeon, administrator for St. Mary's. She met with staff and spoke with physicians during her visit, according to the report.
"It was great meeting the dedicated staff at St. Mary's Surgical Center and touring their state of the art facility," said Rep. Hartzler in the report. "I can see why area residents are so grateful to have St. Mary's providing quality care in their community."
