Devon Energy donated $2 million to the Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City, bringing the company's total contribution to $2.5 million in the institute's $46 million capital campaign, according to an Edmond Sun report.
The campaign funded the new five-story, 78,000-square-foot research and clinical facility, which was completed in 2011 and dedicated last fall. The original 1975 building is undergoing a renovation to upgrade patient rooms and add research space.
