Here are three updates on technology being used at ASCs that Becker's has reported on since Oct. 11:
1. Construction on the Mercy Center for Performance Medicine and Specialty Care, a multispecialty center on the health system's St. Louis hospital campus, has been completed. The center, which includes an ASC, features digitized wayfinding and a virtual concierge service.
2. Captiva Spine's WatchTower navigation system was used for the first time in an ASC, the company said Oct. 17.
3. Medical equipment company Viseon plans to expand its surgical technology market offerings to ASCs.
