Phoenix-based OrthoArizona is opening a musculoskeletal-focused medical facility and ASC in Gilbert, Ariz.
Here are three quick facts:
1. In addition to an ASC, the 50,000-square-foot OrthoArizona South Gilbert facility will include X-ray, MRI, durable medical equipment, physical therapy and hand therapy services, according to the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce.
2. Physicians at the facility will specialize in areas including hand, wrist and elbow, hip and knee, shoulder, sports medicine, total joint replacement and spine procedures.
3. OrthoArizona has more than 70 musculoskeletal specialists and 21 Phoenix-area locations.
"Through collaboration with the medical office, surgery center, advanced imaging and rehab, this will allow OrthoArizona providers to guide the care of the injured patient from start to finish," said Jason Lake, MD, OrthoArizona's senior vice president of operations.
