Birmingham, Ala.-based Brookwood Baptist Health kicked off construction on a $30 million facility that will replace Brookwood Baptist Medical Center's current operating rooms, according to a Nov. 10 news release.
The 18,922-square-foot surgery center will feature 13 operating room suites. Construction is expected to finish in early 2023, according to the release.
