A four-story, 133,768-square-foot office building in Yonkers, N.Y., has been acquired by Simone Development Cos., who plans to repurpose the building into a medical office building, according to an Oct. 10 report from Commercial Property Executive.
The building was last acquired in 2019 as part of a 56-building, $487.5 million transaction. It was most recently renovated in 1995, according to the report.
Internal and external renovations on the building have already begun to convert it into a potential medical facility. The property will be an addition to the "North Yonkers medical mile," which includes physicians' offices and other area medical providers.
