Providence Health & Services Chief Executive of Ambulatory Services Miriam Odermann to retire: 4 key notes

Renton, Wash.-based Providence Health & Services' Chief Executive of Ambulatory Services Miriam Odermann, RN, is retiring in June. 

Here are four key notes:

1. She has served as chief executive for ambulatory services since 2010.

2. In her role, she spearheaded the intuitive to partner with Providence Park to better community health. She also led the health system's project to expand its sports medicine program.

3. Her experience at the health system is quite extensive, with Ms. Odermann serving as a nurse in the coronary care at Portland-based Providence St. Vincent in 1976.

4. Ms. Odermann has been in the ASC space for several years, launching her career as an administrator in 2003.
