Press Ganey recognized Lewisburg, Pa.-based Evangelical Community Hospital's outpatient surgical services departments as a 2018 Guardian of Excellence Award winner, NorthcentralPA.com reports.
Here's what you should know:
1. Press Ganey recognized the hospital's anesthesia, central sterile, one day surgery, operating room, postanesthesia care unit and surgical providers, as well as the Evangelical Ambulatory Surgical Center in Lewisburg.
2. The Surgical Services Teams was in the 95th percentile from May 1, 2017 to April 1, 2018.
3. Evangelical's Director of Patient Experience Nichole Weber said, "The outpatient surgical services teams, and all the people associated with making sure our surgical patients receive the very best care, go above and beyond each and every day."
